This garment's fabric: Pura

Pura is a smooth and dreamy soft all-cotton jersey. It's slightly lighter than our best-selling Eterna fabric, but by no means tissue-weight. The organic fabric is also washed before the clothing is cut and sewn, a rare but very beneficial step in the production process. It not only insures your clothes won't shrink, but also prevents puckering and twisting around seams that often happens in your dryer when the fabric shrinks but the threads used to sew the garment don't to the same degree.

Why will your organic cotton clothing feel otherworldly soft right out of the bag and endure beautifully for years? Because we use the top 0.05% (not a typo) of cotton available. Softest and strongest aren't often used to describe a single fiber. Except when it's organic Peruvian Pima cotton. Ours is grown on two family farms and harvested with care by hand. Our dyes meet or exceed the US Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) regarding lead and the European Chemical Regulation (REACh).

"Love the Deep Teal color. The fabric is nice and soft. Sizing as expected. Like the design element of the front buttons, and even the slit sleeves. However, the seam that is about 2 inches from the end of the sleeve might look good, but it feels terrible. Actually hurts. It is rough, scratchy and in some areas rubbed my skin raw. Noticed the same issue on the Luxe 100% organic cotton jewel neck long sleeve tee, as it too has the same slit sleeve feature and seam about 2 inches from bottom of sleeve. Wont be purchasing these two tees again. Sad, because liked these tees except that end of sleeve rough stitching."

"I ordered a Large bec it is 100% cotton and I figured it might shrink a bit. Color is exactly as pictured and a very pretty red. It is comfortable and washed well. I only put it in dryer on delicate cycle + for a short time. Then I hung it to dry. Good purchase for me.."
